Probably every father wished their children were super toned. But first parents have to lay the foundation for children’s future physique.
Denis LeBlanc is one of those who were fortunate to have excellent genetics and share it with his son Jesse.
Once, truck driver, Denis Leblanc, 53, was fed up with his untoned body and decided to recruit his son, Jesse, 30, as his trainer.
A certified personal trainer, Jesse LeBlanc has been able to shape the bodies of his clients into healthy and strong figures of peak human athleticism. Jesse LeBlanc has utilized that same knowledge and passion for transforming his clients into shaping his own physique as well, leading to numerous competitive bodybuilding titles in the process. But while Jesse may have put in the hard work to transform himself, we have to consider that his superior genetics helped him along the way.
And he was recently crowed first place at a national fitness championship alongside his son after years of hard work and dedication.
According to StoryTrender, Jesse from Toronto, Canada, first started training his unfit dad in 2008 and they haven’t looked back since, becoming bigger and better every year.
Being one of a kind pair of competitors the father and son duo got the chance to show off their hard work and superior genetics on stage when they competed in a bodybuilding show together at last year’s Canadian Nationals. Suffice it to say, both LeBlanc men looked impressive as they stepped on stage to take the bodybuilding world by storm.
Jesse said: “My dad had the typical ‘dad bod’ he was out of shape and barely did any exercise before I started training him.”
“He wanted to lose some weight and feel confident, so I helped him with his diet and training regime.”
They now compete multiple times every year as bodybuilders and are often up against one another for the same titles.
“It’s amazing that we are now both competing on the same stage. It shows that no matter your age, you can still get into the shape of your life to reach your goals.”
“My dad won first place and overall competitor at his regional show and then second in his provincial show to qualify for nationals only a few months ago.”
“We came head to head in the open category at the national championships where I placed second, and dad placed third.”
“People are always so amazed when I tell them he’s my dad, I suppose it’s not something you see every day.”
Denis added: “Stepping on stage with Jesse is amazing, we both train in the gym together when we can.”
“I’m so thankful for all of his advice, and we’re always so happy for one another when we each receive a prize. I couldn’t have done it without him.”
